Helga Isager has designed a classic high neck, yoked sweater which beautiful drape effect sleeves. The sweater is designed using Isager Merilin and Isager Silk Mohair. The combination of these two yarns, gives you a soft and silky fabric.
The colour of the sweater shown is created by using |sager Merilin no 7s and Isager Silk Mohair no 2.
Technical information
The Working Girl sweater is worked from the top down. The design has rib edges and eyelet increases are worked on the yoke, both around the neck just after the rib and down the raglans.
As the sweater has no decreases on body and sleeves, it is very easy to adjust the length.
Gauge
18 stitches and 26 rows = 10 cm on size 5mm needles.
Tools
3 mm , 3.5 mm 4.5 mm and 5 mm needles. Stitch Markers and stitch holders.
