Saltaire Summer Stole Kit

Saltaire Summer Stole Kit, designed by Louise Tilbrook

We are thrilled to be working with hand knit designer Louise Tilbrook.  Together we have paired her fabulous designs with some of our exquisite luxury yarns.  The Saltaire Summer Stole Kit was inspired by the famous World Heritage Site, Saltaire, Bradford.  

Louise herself describes her inspiration for the Stole.  "A luxury summer stole inspired by the beautiful River Aire, Yorkshire, which flows through the UNESCO heritage site of Saltaire, near Bradford. The town was named by joining together the names of the founder - Titus Salt - and the River Aire - which powered the vast Victorian textile mills."

The scarf/stole is knit flat in one piece and features a meandering, open lace pattern.

For the Saltaire Summer Stole we have put together kits using Fonty Moustache.  Fonty Moustache is a gorgeous blend of merino, silk and mohair.  

Each kits includes a printed pattern, a project bag and yarn.  

In honour of Titus Salt, the man behind Saltaire, we have named the stole kits after his many children,
