einrum Ribbon Sweater KBG 22
ribbon sweater KBG 22 designed by Kirstin Brynja
The Ribbon Sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round with a textured pattern adorning the front and stocking stitch on the back and sleeves. It features a deep slit at the centre front. At the slit, the work is divided and then worked back and forth. The sleeve cuffs are worked in double knitting and with a buttonhole. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and knitted along the edge of the cuff. The sleeves are worked back and forth at the beginning to create a slit, then joined to work in the round. The body and sleeves are worked separately up to the armholes and then joined on one circular needle for working the yoke back and forth. The decreases on the yoke are designed to give the illusion of set-in sleeves. The neckline is finished with a double knitted ribbon with long tails that can be tied at the neck.
