Parkin Shawl Kit

The Parkin Shawl designed by Joeli. 

Joeli first came across Parkin when she moved to East Lancashire.   This gingerbread type cake is warming, comforting with a tiny bit of spice -- a lot like this shawl. The Shawl has a smooth, cushy garter stitch and then it finishes with a few rows of intense cabling.

The unique crescent shape the shawl has makes it ideal to with coats or over a fluffy sweater.    

The shawl only uses 200g of DK Blue Faced Leicester from West Yorkshire Spinners. 

When finished the shawl will measure approximately 62” x 18.5” ( 157.5m x 47cm). 

The kit contains two skeins of yarn, pictured is the kit in the light brown.  We also sell the kits in the ecru or dark brown colour way this kit.    The Shawl featured is knitted in the light Brown BFL.
