Helga Isager, from Danish yarn company designed the slick and stylish jacket/cardigan as part of her hand knit design book Room 606. 

BODIL is knitted in pieces from the bottom up.  Bodil is knitted in Isager Spinni and Isager Silk Mohair.  It has a gorgeous tweedy intarsia effect.  We love the timeless design.  The yarns that Helga has chosen to design this classic cardigan in is exquisite.  The fabric is gorgeous. 

Bodil is shown is knitted in the following colour combination:

Colour A : A strand of Isager Spinni colour 100 & Isager Silk Mohair no 6

Colour B: A strand of Isager Spinni colour 100 & Isager Silk Mohair no 47

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The jacket is worked from the bottom up, and the body is worked back and forth in one piece to the armholes.  You will knit the cardigan using a strand of each of the Isager Spinni and Isager Silk Mohair yarns throughout.  You will use the same colour of Spinni and alternate the colour of silk mohair to acheive the tweed effect fabric. 

TOOLS ETC

3.5 & 4mm needles, circular (40 and 80cm).

GAUGE

Using a strand of each of the spinni and silk mohair cast on 22 stitches = 10cm square on 3.5mm in garter stitch.
